Job Type: Part-time Internship

Position: Digital Media Intern

Working Hours: 15 - 20 hours a week (Flexible)

Location: Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (or remotely)

Open to: Undergraduates and Graduates

Applications can currently be made for internships starting in April 2023.

The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications is offering an internship program to Cambodian undergraduates who are interested in digital media and digitalization.

The role and responsibilities of the digital media intern consist of the following:

• Research and create social media content: develop a plan and produce social media content for the current ministry’s program;
• Produce creative content: develop short-form content such as short informational videos;
• Assist other content creation: brainstorm and provide ideas for job-related projects;
• Other job-related duties or projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolling in an undergraduate college/university or be a graduate of related field
• Be a team player
• Have good knowledge of social media
• Have the ability to spot social media trends (and upcoming trends)
• Have strategic thinking and planning skills
• Have the ability to nurture and contribute to innovation and creative solutions
• Have strong verbal and creative communicator
• Have the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Be enthusiastic and energetic to work at Go Digital Cambodia

What is Go Digital Cambodia (GDC)?

Go Digital Cambodia (GDC) was launched in October 2022 as a side program of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC). GDC aims to promote and enable our community to become a digitally inclusive society. It serves as a hub for gathering technology-related information, digital knowledge, online and social media security, and digital tools to raise awareness of risks posed by the misuse of the internet and open up opportunities for everyone to be more engaged, participated, and involved.
